It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stefanos (Steve) Katsanis. Our beloved husband, father, papou, brother and uncle passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Katina, his children Emmanuel (Hope), Antonia, Kalliopy (Nektarios), Alexandros, John, George (Anna), his grandchildren Mareena, Stefanos, Nikos, and Panagiotis, his sister Margarita in Outremont and his 5 siblings in Greece.

Born in Naxos Greece on September 11, 1933, Stefanos arrived to Quebec City Canada in the early 50s. He had an unwavering commitment and endless love for his wife of 66 years. With a strong entrepreneurial drive he founded Pizza Richelieu in the mid-60s and built a great life for his family. He was a smart, knowledgeable, generous and kind man.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27 at 12 PM at Saint Georges Greek Orthodox Cathedral At 2455 Côte Saint Catherine, Montréal, Québec, H3T188 and hence to Mount Royal Cemetery.
