Nina Buob Von Arx, wife of the late Erwin Von Arx, passed away on October 19, 2023, at the Granby Hospital, after a long and well-lived life at the age of 90.

Nina met the love of her life, Erwin Von Arx, in 1955, and they shared 64 happily married years together. They were an amazing team who enjoyed travelling, socializing with their many friends, and spending time with their family.

Nina was an incredible woman--hardworking, caring and devoted. She would light up a room with her smile and make everyone’s world a better place.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Marieann (Pat Delfino), Erica (Bruce Caldwell), and René (Mary Ann Smith); her grandchildren Veronica (Stephen), Jessica (Duncan), Adam, Sarah (Ryan), Robert (Jaclyn), Katrina (Denis), Paul (Isobel), Vienna, Eric; her great grandchildren: Grayson, Bennett, Isaac, Theo, and Abigail; her sisters Erna and Lydia; her brother: Franz; as well as her nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank her dedicated team at the Résidence St Eugène de Granby for the good care provided.

Cremation was held in Granby at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette Crematorium.

There will be a visitation at LES RESIDENCES ET JARDINS FUNERAIRES BESSETTE DE GRANBY, Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 2:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
