Phillip Brown

1982 - 2023

Elder Phillip Paul Brown, aged 41, was transported from this earth to heaven by the angels on December 1, 2023, at the Jewish General Hospital. His wife of 16 years, Shellee, his brother Keith, and other close friends were by his side during his final moments.
Phillip was the second born of eight siblings and a past student at the Waterford High School in Jamaica and graduated in 1999.
He got married to the love of his life Shellee, on June 30, 2007, and later welcomed their first of three children two years later.
He was passionate about music and played the steel pan while in Jamaica. After migrating to Montreal, Canada in April 2011, he continued his love for music and played the piano, organ, drums, and of course, his steel pan.
He worked for Telus as a Sales Representative for many years and took his job very seriously. He was also an Elder at the Ebenezer Apostolic Church in Montreal, where he was deeply loved. He was a teacher, preacher, and student of the word and will be greatly missed for his deep thoughts and revelations that he always shared with the congregation.
He had many hobbies, including playing steel pan and any musical instrument, playing soccer and basketball, exercising, going for walks, and taking pictures of blooming flowers, which he would share on Facebook.
He is survived by his wife Shellee, three children – Jordan, Tassania, and Gabriela, mother – Julit, brother, sisters, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father. The impact of Phillip's life will be felt for years to come.
