It is with profound sadness that the family of Cecil Nathaniel Jackson announces his passing on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the age of 95.

Cecil was born in St.Michael, Barbados in 1929 to Albertha and Shadrack Jackson. He came to Montreal in 1966, and worked in the Railway and Healthcare industry before completing his career with the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal where he worked until his retirement in 1993, at the age of 63.

Cecil will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Eunice Herbert Jackson; children

Cecil was predeceased by his parents, Albertha Coombs Jackson and Shadrack Jackson; siblings Yvonne, Phyllis and is survived by his brother Hubert Jackson (Elva).

The viewing will take place on Wednesday August 14 and Thursday August 15, 2024 from 2:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at the Urgel Bourgie located at 1275 Dollard Avenue, Montreal (LaSalle) H8N 2J1.

A Celebration of Cecil’s Life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., at the Urgel Bourgie, 1275 Dollard Avenue, Montreal (LaSalle) H8N 2J1. An interment will follow at Urgel Bourgie Cemetery, 3955 Cote de Liesse Rd, Montreal (St. Laurent) H4N 2N6.
