It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Rosa Varacalli, who left us on February 4th, 2025, at the age of 95.

She was a beloved wife to the late Giuseppe, a cherished mother to Giuseppina and Vincenzo (late Lise Rivard) and a loving grandmother to Sabrina and Emilie.

She will be remembered as an inspiring, strong, loving woman who gave herself selflessly to her family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, February 9, from 1h30pm to 3h30pm at St-Martin Mausoleum (rear building) located at 2159 Boul. St-Martin Est, Laval, Qc, H7E 4X6

A ceremony will be held at the same place at 3h30pm, followed by the entombing in the crypt at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, you can donate to Marie-Clarac Hospital Foundation in memory of Rosa Criniti Varacalli where she received excellent palliative care.

We, the family, are forever grateful to Marie-Clarac and the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Mary for not only taking heartfelt genuine care of all of us in our grand-mother’s last moments but also for taking care of us as young children after our mom (Lise Rivard)’s passing.  A special thank you to Soeur Martine whose warm embrace always makes us feel cared for and safe and to Mère Pierre Anne Mandato who promised our mother, on her death bed, that she would take care of us. As promised, the community always did. There are no words to express the immensity of what this meant to our grandmother and to our entire family.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
