It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Roger Duverseau, who died on June 15, 2025, in Montreal at the age of 88. He passed away peacefully at Sacré-Cœur Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.

Dr. Duverseau is mourned by his spouse Madeleine Beaulieu, his children Frantz (Caroline) and Nathalie (Jean-Marc), his grandchildren Jérémy, Nellie-Jazz, Charlie, and Nicolas, his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Devoted to his career in anesthesiology, Dr. Roger Duverseau served at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital for over 40 years. He was always available to his patients, treating them with respect and dignity. Nothing surpassed his warm smile, kindness, and eagerness to help.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue in Montreal, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A ceremony in his honor will follow at 3:00 p.m.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and Sacré-Cœur Hospital for their compassionate care. They also wish to express their deep gratitude to all the relatives and friends for their support and invaluable help in recent months.
