It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Speranta Marta Popescu Marouf, who left us peacefully on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, at the age of 85.

Daughter of the late Ion and Eketerina Popescu, she is survived by her husband Salim Marouf.

She will also be missed by her children: Ruba, Najwa, Randa (Ghazwan Taifour), Elham (Toufic Rahman) and Ahmad; her grandchildren: Tulin (Ali Daryaei), Nermine, Yasmine (Khaled Challah), Karam, Tarek, Ziad, Emad, Yasmine, Marta and Salim Jr; her great grandson Noah Challah as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The family will receive your condolences Friday, June 20th, 2025, from 1p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 2500 Ave des Perron east, Laval. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 at the funeral complex.
Followed by interment at Jardins Urgel Bourgie, 2500 Ave des Perron east, Laval.
