Domenico Antonio Lanni
1926 - 2021
On Thursday, April 1, 2021, Domenico Antonio (Tony) Lanni father of two sons, passed away at age 94.
Tony was born on June 7th, 1926 in Campobasso, Italy to Giovanni Lanni and Maria Annunziata Colasurdo.
On September 10th, 1949, he married Antonietta Faccone. They immigrated to Montreal, Canada on August 2nd, 1951 and raised two sons, Mario and Giancarlo.
Tony had a passion for gardening and cultivating land. He loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was known for his infectious smile, his kind and compassionate spirit as well as helping others in times of need.
He is survived by his two sons Mario and wife Patrizia and Giancarlo, his brother Raffaele and sister-in-law Michelina, nieces and nephews, his grand-children Veronica, Derek and Joel as well as his great grand children.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 16th, at Urgel Bourgie/Athos Complex on 1255 Beaumont Ave, Mount Royal, Quebec H3P 3J1 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm followed by a 20 minutes religious service.
